Up All Night Book Blog was created in 2012 and in 2015 we united with Blushing Babes Book Blog, thus becoming Blushing Babes are Up All Night.

The same great blog, but with some fabulous additions!

 

Abby

I started this blog way back when and it was first called B-gail’s books. I’d read Rebecca Donovan’s Reason to Breathe and I took to the internet in search of fellow minded readers. It was at the start of the indie craze and had no idea what I was doing. I met a wonderful woman Dawn Kau and together we formed Up All Night Book Blog. We had a lot of fun even hosting a fabulous event in Portland Oregon in 2013! Dawn decided to move on, but we had taken on the fabulous Nicole and Dawn C. As my writing career began to take off, I needed help. I found a blog, Blushing Babes and together we united. We were so blessed to merge with Kerry, Jade, and Louisa. In 2016, we expanded, even more, taking on Tera, who is the most fabulous admin, keeping this blog running. We also took on Stephanie and were thrilled to have her. She helps with a ton of our takeovers. In 2016 we also started The Reading Room, which has been loads of fun. Late 2017 we added Christina and early 2018 we’ve also added Sandy. I look forward to getting to know these fabulous women and hearing their thoughts on books. I am Louisa from the ‘burbs of Philadelphia. I am a mom of 4 kids and just one hubby!

I am a Lactation Consultant by day and reader by night. I always enjoyed reading a book or two on vacation, but when my kids were little, I just didn’t find the time. A friend suggested I read The Hunger Games and the reading addiction began to take flight. After reading Fifty Shades of Grey EL James and Slammed by Colleen Hoover, I never looked back. I love reading my favorites but also enjoy finding new to me authors.

I was “that” friend who people would ask for book recommendations, so the natural progression to blogger came rather easily. I love contemporary romance, Rom-Com, a sexy alpha male and even a little PNR.

The friends I have made in this “book world” are some of my favorite people I “know”. Not only do I love to read, but I ALWAYS has an audible book going while I drive.

I am Kerry from Rhode Island. I am a single mom of two. I work in health care. I have always been a reader. When I was young, I started with Judy Blume and Nancy Drew. My genres have expanded to Flowers in the Attic to Joan Collins. I love the escape reading gives you. The book world has opened so many doors. I have made a lot of friends along the way. I like to spend my time on the beach with a book. That’s my idea of a perfect day.

Dawn

I am a born and raised New Yorker. I am married to a wonderful man and I have been blessed with two stepchildren. Reading and working out are currently my passions in life.

My love of reading started when I was a child. I remember reading The Outsiders by SE Hinton and feeling everything!! I found reading to be an escape for me. I loved getting lost in a great book. As I got older reading took the back seat until I stumbled upon Nicolas Sparks and Stephen King. They rejuvenated my love of reading once again…..

But honestly, it wasn’t until I read Fifty Shades of Grey that I became obsessed and passionate about reading. Since then, I have been an active member in the book world.

I started blogging/reviewing for Blushing Babes are Up All Night Book Blog around 2014. Since then it’s been a whirlwind… I have read hundreds of books and made numerous book friends around the world. I have come so far that I am even considering researching on how much to charter a plane for my tours! Getting away from New York to meet new people, to listen to their views and share anecdotes on the books that we read has been a great experience. But I will admit that sometimes balancing life and this crazy book world can get stressful, but I have loved every minute of it!

 

 

Stephanie

I am Stephanie. I am originally from the Hoods of West Philly and now reside in the burbs of the burbs! I am a nurse, a wife, a Nona, and a music lover.

I stumbled into reading while on bedrest. A friend at work suggested a blogger page. That page did a feature on Slammed by Colleen Hoover. My friend also said I MUST read Ten Tiny Breaths by KA Tucker. I was hooked!

I met Louisa Brandenburger at a KA Tucker signing. We became book friends. The blogger page I followed was promoting a book signing (which I had never heard of) in Florida called Book Bash. I came home one day and told my husband “I’m going to Book Bash!” What an amazing way to get thrown into this crazy book world. I made so many new friends and got to meet amazing authors! I am lucky enough to travel around the country to attend & volunteer at book events. I have made so many “book friends” and “author friends.”

Reading is my “crack”. It has been my companion and my escape. I started with YA/NA but have moved on to dark, sports, MC & Mafia. I love it! This is a wonderful community that I am so happy to be a part of!

 

 

Tera

I’m a midwest local who is a wife to my high school sweetheart and mother of 3 rowdy little boys (a set of twins, no less), a radiologic technologist, and a huge reader. I tend to go for YA… Sarah Dessen, Ellen Hopkins, you name it.

Therapy by Kathryn Perez is the book that opened my eyes to the “indie” book community, although I didn’t realize I had already read some indie authors. I had been following Up All Night Book Blog as a reader, but they took a chance on me an let me join as a blogger. Blogging has expanded my horizons, and I can be found reading almost all genres now.

I now run to Amy Harmon, Brittainy Cherry and Jay McLean. It has also built some great relationships and friendships all over the country! I can always be found with a book in my hand (usually my phone) with a Kindle in my purse and an audible playing in the car.

Not to mention I have the best blog sisters in the world, and I could never thank them enough for letting me become a part of Blushing Babes are Up All Night!

Hey Babes!

I’m a happy wife and mother of the sweetest two-year-old little boy who is the love of my life. My next love is and always will be reading. I read several different genres but my favorite is romance! The type of romance book changes with my mood. Sometimes I love a hot, sexy and dominating alpha billionaire and sometimes I’m in the mood for a small town single Dad romance with a feisty heroine. Anything that makes me SWOON!

Getting to write for this blog is definitely a gift I don’t take lightly. I’m grateful for the opportunity to read these amazing stories and share my opinions with fellow book lovers!
