Don’t let the title fool you!  Roan is a lot of things, but a bastard isn’t one of them!

Roan hasn’t had a easy life.  It’s been rough. He is a successful, single father raising his two daughters.  They are the light of his life. Roan has his demons that he keeps at bay, but when they’re unleashed, there’s no telling what could happen.

Roan and his best friend, Chandler, run a successful business. He is nothing like Chandler, who’s a man whore and self absorbed.  So when we see the tender moments that Chandler’s sister Mia and Roan share, they will melt your heart.

Mia has returned to Massachusetts for work. Mia and Roan shared a night of passion so long ago. When they come face to face, neither one wants to open those wounds. The sexual tension has sparks flying like they never died. Will they act on their attraction or will Roan let her get away again?

LK Collins has written a second chance romance.  It’s a funny, sweet, fast paced read.  I wished the story was longer once it picked up because then it was over! I enjoyed the story that it was based in Massachusetts.  It gives you the east coast feel. I look forward to more by LK Collins since she’s new to me!
