There is so much more to this book than just hockey. Kellan is super hot. Protective with the ones he cares about. He’s been frequently coming to a bar that Kristen has been working at. He’s been trying for a year, but Kristen wants no part of it. What’s surprising though is with a hot hockey player on the front of the cover, you’d think this book was a sports romance. Well, guess what!? It’s NOT!
Kristen’s life has been less than perfect. Thinly thing that was her fault was that she fell in love with a manipulative, powerful, and ruthless man. Even the FBI couldn’t touch him. When she realizes there’s no other way than to run, she takes her life back but she’s scared her past will come back to haunt her.
LP Dover never disappoints! It’s filled with so many twists and turns and is FULL of suspense. Great characters. Heartache, angst, and so many swoon worthy moments. This book moves so buckle up! The ending is fantastic and I really enjoyed it!!! I can’t wait for the next one in this series!

living, but at least I was able to retrieve the money I had in the bank before
my supposed death. Having that money helped, especially since I didn’t make
