#ReviewBlitz~~Bro Code by Kendall Ryan
From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a flirty new standalone about falling for your older brother’s best friend.
There’s pretty much only one rule when you’re a guy.
Don’t be a douche.
Turns out, the fastest way to break that rule is to fall for your best friend’s sister.
Ava’s brilliant, sharp-tongued, gorgeous, and five years younger than me.
She’s the sexual equivalent of running with scissors. In a word, she’s dangerous. And completely off-limits.
Falling for her could ruin everything.
Yet I can’t seem to stop, even when her company is threatened by a lawsuit, and my promotion hinges on representing the opposing client—and winning.
I can’t see a way out of this mess that doesn’t end in a broken friendship, a broken heart, or a ruined career.
I may have broken the bro code when I fell for Ava. But do I have the balls to handle what comes next?
Sandy’s 4 Blush Review
Barrett Wilson’s is living the life in Chicago of a successful corporate lawyer quickly making his way up the partnership ladder.
Ava Saunders has left behind her dreams and come home to take over her father’s legacy – the factory that employs many of the people in their small town.
He is driven, sweet and kind. She is gutsy, sassy and loyal to a fault.
Her father’s health has forced him into retirement and that is why Barrett has come home. Not only is Ava’s brother his best friend, her family has been the one that Barrett holds dear. Each one has been crushing on the other for years and the chemistry between them is positively off the charts hot.
Ava accidently bursts into the bathroom as Barrett’s getting out of the shower and neither one can go back to just being friends. They want each other badly but that darn “Bro Code” makes it impossible. Or does it? Will these two cross the line to find out if there is more here than really hot sex?
Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes! I enjoyed having both viewpoints so we know what each character is feeling. Kendall Ryan delivered big time on the sexy in Bro Code. It was everything that you would want from a quick read with a surprise twist delivering the necessary angst.
