Reese and Ryder experience many emotions all while trying to interact day in and day out. Their past is like a heavy weight wrapped around them. The regrets, the emotions, the ‘feels’. Reese is a constant reminder of good and bad times. Realizations are made. Will the risk be worth it?

The story is well written. The only issue I had was the introduction of so many new characters. It was a lot to take in. But as this is book #1 in the series I expected as much. They also have a story to be told. I think that we will have Gia’s story next. She is the Steamer’s General Manager. If that is the case then I need to stock up on my tissues now!
