Louisa’s 4 Blush (and Swoony) Review
Braden Mack is the swooniest man on earth. He may try a bit hard at times to impress women, but he really doesn’t need to. He’s a genuine, sweet, loyal man, and oh how I loved this book!!
Liv is one strong woman and will take no shit from anyone, not Mack or her sleazy reality tv famous chef ex-boss. She’s fired (partly Mack’s fault), and she sees her boss sexually harassing another employee and makes it her mission to expose him for who he really is.
Mack feels horrible about what happened with Liv and wants to help. He sorta “pushes” himself on Liv and offers to help with her plight because, well – he’s a good guy and wants to “out” Royce too. During their time together it becomes more than obvious that these two were meant to be together, they don’t see if at first but they are a match made in heaven. It’s not an easy road by any mean but they say it’s the journey that counts right?
We get to see the cast of characters that we fell in love with in The Bromance Book Club once again, and they do not disappoint. I found myself literally laughing out loud while reading their antics, and Lyssa Kay Adams is on my must-read for romantic comedies now. She has perfect timing, beautiful, witty writing that kept me reading for way longer than I probably should have. I read this book in one day (just like the first one) because I was hooked!

Braden Mack thinks reading romance novels makes him an expert in love, but he’ll soon discover that real life is better than fiction.
Liv Papandreas has a dream job as a sous chef at Nashville’s hottest restaurant. Too bad the celebrity chef-owner is less than charming behind kitchen doors. After she catches him harassing a young hostess, she confronts him and gets fired. Liv vows revenge, but she’ll need assistance to take on the powerful chef.
Unfortunately, that means turning to Braden Mack. When Liv’s blackballed from the restaurant scene, the charismatic nightclub entrepreneur offers to help expose her ex-boss, but she is suspicious of his motives. He’ll need to call in reinforcements: the Bromance Book Club.
Inspired by the romantic suspense novel they’re reading, the book club assists Liv in setting up a sting operation to take down the chef. But they’re just as eager to help Mack figure out the way to Liv’s heart… even though she’s determined to squelch the sparks between them before she gets burned
