The supporting characters: Jean Claude the stinky trouble making goat (ram), Rufus the foul mouthed, bacon stealing parrot, Mrs. C his owner and the bestie Lulu are so fun and add levity to balance out the angst. Yes, there is angst, and happy, and sad, and sexy, and it was just so enjoyable. I am living this writing duo! Ilsa and Tia strike just the right note with this rom/com. A perfect beach read? Absolutely! Actually it’s a perfect anytime read.
