Walk the Line is full of anguish! It’s a single dad who falls for a younger woman. It is also a slow burn romance. I have really enjoyed the Man of the Month series. I can’t believe it’s over. Each one was so different from the next, and the whole series is filled with great characters.

Walk the Line focuses on Brett. Brett works at The Fix doing security. He is a single dad to a sweet little girl named Faith. She has been his primary focus for such a long time.

Elena is in grad school. She is young and ambitious. Both Elena and Brett are connected to The Fix. Brett is cautious about relationships as his heart is not the only one he has to take into consideration. Brett’s track record with woman leaves him full of fear. However, if he doesn’t take a chance, one day he could really regret it. Will he take a chance on Elena?

I really enjoyed watching Brett step out of his comfort zone and slowly build his relationship with Elena. J. Kenner did a fabulous job wrapping up this series. Each is interconnected, but they also standalone well.
