Release Blitz, Review and Giveaway ~~ Lucky Ball by Lisa Paul
Author: Lisa N. Paul
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: June 1, 2016
It’s all in the luck of the ball…
Quirky yet adorable, Wren Jamison couldn’t make a good decision if her life depended on it. When poor choices forced Wren to question her judgment, fate—in the shape of a small black ball—stepped in and took over. That orb became her lifeline. Now, years later, every move she makes revolves around her Fortune Ball. Every. Single. Decision.
Kissing Logan Enders isn’t a strange twist of fate—the ball tells her to do it. And she does. After all, the ball is never wrong. The sexy song-writing musician needs Wren to put her trust in him—not in the small screen of a children’s game. But just like any modern woman, Wren might prefer the dependability of the toy over the uncertainty of a man. So who will win?
All signs point to…
Lucky Ball is one of those books that will just makes you smile, laugh and maybe even shed a tear! It has me laughing at times and then had my heart breaking at others.
Lisa Paul has created a couple that were meant for each other. Lucky (Wren) and Logan (Lo) were a couple made in the heaven…or possibly the Lucky Ball realm!
Wren who has some serious self esteem issues that started with the stupid Thurston Mills in high school. This insecurity has and has bled into her adult life, it has taken over her life to be honest. She has been stunted by the “need” to ask the Lucky Ball to lead her to the right decisions, but honestly she’s just afraid to make the decisions herself. It’s not just the big decisions in life that she has needed to ask the Lucky Ball but even what coffee to drink daily. She is stuck and needs to learn to trust herself again and Logan might just be the man to help her with this…but can she stop needing “the ball”.
Thankfully Wren has a friend, Emmy, who has stuck with her through the years and often pushes her to get out of her boundaries. And one night, she does it good. with the help of the lucky ball – Wren makes her bold move and kisses Logan out of the blue and her life starts a new path. But as you know – the lucky ball may not always lead her the right way and there are times my heart broke for Wren for her inability to follow her heart.
I enjoyed watching Wren grow and find herself. I loved watching her grow as a person and with Logan.
This book is quirky, sweet, uplighting and fun. Everything you are looking for in a book. My only beef? I am hoping Lisa is going to write a book about Em and Smith?
