We finally get Mac and Arro’s story! The one trope that is going to stand out in this story is the age gap which is done perfectly! You can’t help but root for these two. But there is also a mystery portion much like the other books in the story. I will say this one seemed like there was a lot going on but it did all come together nicely at the end.
Arro is an exceptional character as she is a strong woman! No one will walk all over her including the man she has loved and pined over since she was 18. If you have read the prior books in the series, you know Mac has a dark past that inevitably creeps in causing issues between he and Arro. But the best part of this book… Mac’s growth as a character. Big, protector, Mac does what it take to overcome his demons and win back Arro’s affection.
This book will definitely take you on a ride. With layered characters and strong females, you can’t help but just fall in love with them. I can’t wait to continue the Adair Family Series!
Synopsis
