K.A. Tucker writes mystery (Burying Water), I’m here for it. She writes dark romance (He Will be My Ruin), I’m here for it. She writes under a different nom de plume (Nina West), I’m here for it. She wants to make a state (Alaska) a main character in her book, I’m here for it. She writes psychological fiction (Keep Her Safe), you already know what I’m going to say….she also has one of my favorite covers of all time (Ten Tiny Breaths).

Now she delves into a world of fantasy – something a little different for her – with A Fate of Wrath & Flame and I say YES!

Complex characters, a layered storyline with a slow burn that had me at hello. Zander (He’s the King) and Romeria (thief accused of crime she didn’t commit) gave me all the feels with each one underestimating the other.

Thrust into this elemental magic world that she does not understand, what is a girl to do? Zander needs her help in uncovering who is out to kill him and so a deal is struck. Cue the snark, and good vs evil, enemies to lovers, trope.

Does love really conquer all? I invite you to find out in Book 1 of the Fate & Flame series. We get a taste of what’s to come and I can’t wait to see how it develops.
