This book has all the perfect tropes from age-gap, enemies to lovers and best friend’s brother. Cove and Jace were great together in this book.
Cove has had a crush on her best friend’s brother for years, but as much as she crushed on him, she also hated him for treating her horribly when she was younger. Jace is a retired Navy Seal who had his own personal demons he needed to work through.
Cove gets herself into some trouble, and Jace makes it his job to protect her and keep her safe and he does just that. Between their arguing, sexual tension and banter they fall for one another.
The story has a couple twists that I never saw coming. I really enjoyed this book. I love when stories are in dual POV which this one is, and it just makes it so much better. I highly recommend this book!
