This is a bit different than Stevie J. Cole’s other books. I adored reading Meet Hate Love. It’s a laugh out loud book. My stomach hurt from laughing and the back-and-forth banter between the characters was hilarious. (Side note: don’t read at work, coworkers look at you funny!)
Blake and Vance work at the same company. Their cubicles are side by side and nothing is private. Their work relationship has been rocky since a mishap between them a year ago.
Blake has been working hard on a work dream trip to Paris, but when your backstabbing co-worker steals it from under you, what will you do to get them back? Ladies, the gloves come off, and Blake will do anything to take down Vance.
Blake was given some spicy information on Vance by her bestie Margot. Will this information work for Blake’s benefit or will she lose everything? Things start heating up. Blake and Vance are off to Paris, so what could possibly go wrong? These two have been spending so much time together in the city of Love.
There won’t be a moment that goes by that you won’t be laughing while reading this book. It’s quirky and a short rom-com. Believe it or not, Stevie J. Cole really knows how to make you laugh and smile while reading.
