New Review Maybe Maby, Willow Aster
Mabel Armstrong is on the verge of giving up. But just when things feel bleakest, there seems to be a shift in the universe. People come out of the woodwork. Her ex won’t leave her alone. An old friend finally tries to become more. Even the cute guy at the coffee shop starts paying extra attention.
Maybe Maby is a heartbreaking, and at times, hilarious story about coping with loss, finding love in New York, and learning to recognize hope in the middle of it all.

I have a confession, I love Willow Aster. True Love Story is one of my favorites, In the Fields was an amazing story and this book, is just another reminder of all things I love about her. She tells a story of a mentally ill woman named Maby. We follow Maby’s journey as she deals with her mental illness. Some people accept her for it while others do not. But this story is about self love and falling in love as much as it is about mental illness.
I found this to be funny and witty as well as a tad bit sexy. Did you know what happens if you eat pineapples before a man goes south. Google that!! I feel well schooled. I was also cracking up more times then tearing up, not that it is a comedy but Aster’s smart sense of humor shines.
If you are looking for a unique heroine and a really sweet love story on top of that then this is your story.
Willow Aster is the author of True Love Story, In the Fields, and Maybe Maby. She lives with her husband and two kids on a tropical beach in paradise. Well, at least part of that is true … the rest is Story Lala Land, where Willow spends most of her time.
