I’m new to Cora Brent. Her new friends to enemies Long Lost is heartbreaking, emotional. It’s told in the past and present, flashbacks into Johnny and Caris childhood. This likely pair bond of friendship is so precious. Both had some trouble in their home life that just ripped their worlds apart.
Caris didn’t let her troubled experiences in her life make her unable to see the good in people. She has a heart of gold, and she loyal to the ones she calls friends. I adored her strength and character. Johnny has grown up angry, a bit of chip on his shoulder. He lets his past take over his mind… which makes his life difficult.
Many years later these two cross paths again. Rekindling their friendship is challenging with the past they had. I struggled with Johnny’s character, his attitude towards things really bothered me, the chip on his should was so big. I really did enjoy the story it really shows how friendship and love come together
