Wow! Believe it or not, this one was a top read for me this year. Untying the Knot is a marriage in-crisis trope, and I could not get enough.
Untying the Knot is standalone that is in the same world as the Cane Brothers. There are some cameos from those characters, which was fun. This story, however, is Myla and Ryot’s. Let me start by saying I loved the character development. The back and forth between past and present did such a good job at showing just what these two did to get together.
This story is so relatable. I felt the pain and uncertainty within the characters. I felt the fight and desire. I felt the resentment. It was heartbreaking. It felt absolute. It felt hopeful. All the ups and downs of Ryot and Myla’s relationship are here to prove that just maybe, true love can overcome any obstacle. That love and trust can be mended. That falling in love all over again is possible.
Meghan Quinn slayed with this one. I think anyone could enjoy Ryot and Myla’s journey.
