I have to admit that this was my favorite book of the whole series. I suppose J. Lynn Bailey saved the best for last! This story won me over because of that heroine, Camilla. She is a complex character written to perfection. Those who love strong heroines, Camilla is your girl. I appreciated the different angles this story took. It was a “bigger picture” story that didn’t focus quite so much on the small town of Dillon Creek. In this series, you meet many characters, and Loving Camilla has just enough cameos of those characters to feel that you didn’t miss out, but you get so much more overall story. This is also Calder’s story. We get to see the last Atwood brother get his HEA. I think the best thing about Calder is the fact he’s just a good, old-fashioned gentleman.

Seeing Camilla and Calder get their HEA was quite the ride. I really can’t wait to see what J. Lynne Bailey comes up with next.

J Lynn Bailey has saved the best for last. It’s a bit different than her others; it was action-packed and full of suspense. It was my favorite out of this series.

Camilla has a past that no one can imagine; she’s strong-willed, hard-headed, and a great single mom. Camilla is struggling to keep her farm afloat. She is showing her son Malik what hard work does for you and that nothing should be handed to you. She loves with her whole heart; I love a strong heroine. Camilla’s past is starting to catch up with her. First, it starts with a strange phone call, and then some strange things begin to happen on the farm. How far will she go to protect the ones she loves?

Calder is a kind, patient man when it comes to Camilla. He has been waiting in the wings to make us move, but he doesn’t think Camilla feels the same way. Camilla and Calder’s relationship has grown throughout the story; it’s a nice slow-burn friendship that turns into something special.

Loving Camilla is a page turn from the very beginning. It’s well-written, fast-paced, and has some suspense thrown in. It will leave you saying, wow!
