Kerry’s 3 Blush Review

Kira was introduced in the prequel of Slashes in the Snow called Snowfall. She was a likable character, a fun-loving young girl. Her mother married Ky’s dad who was the president of an MC club. Kira and Ky know nothing about each other, so when she seeks him out, she gets more than she bargained for. Kira thinks she’s going crazy at times. Someone is watching her. Ky wants to help Kira, but he’s so angry with his dad that helping her could be a complication. These two step siblings give each other a run for their money. Ky comes off has a big badass, but when it comes to Kira, he’s a big teddy bear. There were some funny moments. There was some serious, heavy chemistry between them. I just wish there was more of a built-up and didn’t feel so rushed. The storyline was well written and kept my attention. And while I really liked Kira’s character in the beginning, then she became whiny and needy. While I assumed it was written this way due to the storyline, it just didn’t work well for me. There is a lot of drama and suspense along with a crazy stalker. This is definitely not all fairytale.

Synopsis

Three years ago my father walked away. Away from our MC club, all his responsibilities, and me. We haven’t spoken since the day he handed me the keys to the kingdom.

Shoved them down my throat was more like it.

I hate him, and the new family he’s playing house with. He left his entire life behind for a woman he barely knows. But I’m strong, resilient, and don’t need a damn soul to survive.

At least, that’s what I thought…until she walked into my bar.

Someone is watching me. I can feel it. I wake up in the middle of the night freaked out of my mind, paranoid a stranger is there. My skin prickles every time I leave my house, because I know someone is following me.

Little did I know, Ky Parish, freakin’ hates my guts.
