I love all things Jessica Prince, as you know, So naturally I was stoked to read Corrupt!

It’s the story of Garrett, the drummer of Civil Corruption and Gwen. After Gwen wanders into Garrett’s room during a wild party and they share meaningful conversation, this leads to a night full of passion as well as a baby. Gwen decides to keep that to herself, however. But when Garrett finds out years later, he wants to make things right with not only Liddy, their child, but also with Gwen.

Corrupt was entertaining at times, but a little insta-love for me. Garrett went from being a total douche in a split second to being a completely awesome dude the next and I didn’t feel like there was a transition, BUT he WAS a completely awesome dude!

Jessica Prince’s writing is funny and sarcastic and FULL of colorful words and phrases that made my cheeks hurt from grinning. Although it was a bit slow at times, it definitely picked up at the end and I really enjoyed the last leg of the book. In all Corrupt is worth the read! You’ll fall for this sexy, alpha drummer!

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all.

Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says.

In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand.

Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.
