I love everything that Rebecca Yarros writes and Reason to Believe is no exception.
I didn’t know there were a few books, maybe novellas, that preceded this book and I wish I would have read them first, but I was able to figure out all the characters/relationships without taking away from the joy of this book.
This brother’s best friend to lovers romance had all I needed in my life.
Harper and Knox have always had a current running between them, from their childhood and up into adulthood but the unspoken (and spoken by Haper’s brother) rule was they could never be together.
Harper is tasked with caring for 2 brothers in an emergency situation and she needs to use Knox’s house. Knox won’t be home for a week and she will surely be out before he gets home…never happens.
The past and present of both Harper and Knox are told in this book. The angst has been lingering for years. And once they are forced to be “together” – the sparks fly and no one can stop what’s going to happen…not even Knox and Harper.
These two compliment each other and with each other they are amazing. The ups and downs, tears and laughs of this book will forever remain!
