I have been known to just jump into book without reading the synopsis.  Crave is one of those.  Many would wonder why not know what you are going to read?  For me, this author is an automatic go-to author.  I have loved all of the previous books penned by this author.  So whenI got into the thick of it with Crave I was a bit surprised to see it was a YA book.  So out of the norm for EK Blair but I have to say – she did a great job with it!

I currently have 4 teenagers in my house, so the teen angst is real for me.  This book, Kason and Ady’s lives are believable to me. (God – I hope by kids aren’t having the issues they are though).  Teen love, sex, lies, friendships and life of a teenage is written so well.

Kason – the boy from the “other side of the tracks” is attending a school where most of the students are wealthy.  That’s were he meets the “new girl” Ady.  Their attraction is instant, but they don’t just jump right in.  No one knows the real Kason and he’s not sure he’s worthy of her love and affection.

“If only I could put into words how it feels to be loved by Kason.”

Wow, EK Blair has given us a YA book with problems you might find with older adults, real, life altering problems and two characters that are struggling to find their way, as individuals and as a couple.

EK Blair left me with a cliffhanger like no other with BANG, Crave Part 1 cliffy – comes in a close second!  Need part two – ASAP!
