#AvailableNow!! Nocturnes and Nightmares by Keri Lake
Kerry’s 4 Blush Review
Be afraid of the things that make you jump in the night. Always watch your surroundings. You never know who could be lurking! We were told the sandman was a myth but this one is real.
Nola Telsley is struggling to keep a roof over her head and food on the table for her and her son. Life hasn’t been kind to either one of them. Her son hates her. Nola is struggling with the nightmare her son witnessed that took his father. Mother and son definitely have their share of problems but with the help of Voss, maybe things are about to change.
Sandman is a psychopath serial killer who has his eyes set on Mrs. Telsley. Nola has a notion that someone has been watching her until legitimate proof starts popping up. Voss is an ex-marine who comes into Nola’s life unexpectedly… or is it fate? Voss has his own nightmares of the sandman, but he’s willing to fight those demons to keep Nola safe.
Keri Lake has written a dark, psychological thriller that will give you chills and nightmares. I was on the edge of my seat, and I couldn’t put it down until it ended. This story is told in a dual POV. Nocturnes and Nightmares isn’t my typical read. I felt like It was a bit out of my normal genre, but to be honest, I was intrigued by the storyline and the characters. I’m looking forward to the second book in this series.

curiosities lead her down the path of a madman, whose moniker, The Sandman, only hints at the grisly
nature of his crimes. He’s smart. Evasive. A cunning psychopath with a twisted
method of disposing his victims.

This book contains scenes of graphic sex and violence that some readers
may find disturbing.
is a dark romance writer who specializes in demon wrangling, vengeance dealing
and wicked twists. Her stories are gritty, with antiheroes that walk the line
of good and bad, and feisty heroines who bring them to their knees. When not penning books, she enjoys spending
time with her husband, daughters, and their rebellious Labrador (who doesn’t
retrieve a damn thing). She runs on
strong coffee and alternative music, loves a good red wine, and has a slight
addiction to dark chocolate.
