UAN: Hi Renee! We can’t wait to meet you soon!! So, is this your first visit to Portland? If so, is there anything in particular you are wanting to do while here (outside of meeting all the crazy fans?)? If not, what’s something you love about Portland?
Renee: This will be my first trip to Portland and I’m kind of embarrassed to admit that other than the signing, I’m most excited about the beer. I also hope to hear some live, local music, which is something I like to do in every city I visit.
UAN: Portland is a great place for local music! And for the beer too! 😉
What are you most excited about regarding the signing event on October 12th?
Renee: I cannot wait to giveaway 15 of the new Atria edition galley copies of SWEET THING. I haven’t even see the new paperback in person, so I’ll be extra excited to rip open that box when I’m there.
UAN: We can’t wait to see them too! (And thank you for the SNEAK PEEK below of the cover!!!)
If you could bring one of your characters with you to the signing, who would it be and why?
Renee: Of course, Will. I would love to have Will Ryan there serenading us as we sign books. Wouldn’t that be great? I wonder how I can make that happen.
UAN: Oh, yes, Will…*swoon* I love the hell out of him! ~Dawn
What’s one thing you’d like to share with your fans that they might not otherwise know?
Renee: Will Ryan and I share the same ridiculous fear of flying. I Mapquested from So-Cal to Portland, hoping it would be a feasible drive. . . not so much. I love traveling so I’m still gonna do it. I’ll just take Will’s advice and add a little extra tequila to my breakfast.
UAN: Haha! Just order some OJ with that and you’ll be good! We’ll look forward to seeing you arrive safe and sound!

Renee’s first friends were the imaginary kind and even though her characters haven’t gone away, thankfully the delusions have.
