The Hacker Series Meredith Wild
This series is a start, no a promise of something sexy, that rivals Lisa Renee Jones Inside Out Series and Jodie Ellen Malpas This Man Series. Both of those series captivated me for days and I have no doubt that this series will too.
Hot, pushy, super smart nerdy, sex on a stick aka Blake is domineering. Erika is used to doing things on her own and she most def. gives push back when Blake tries to tell her hw it is.
Besides the hotness, this story has a plot! A lot of interesting things start in this book and it’s enough to keep you reading well into the night.
My one point of critique- transitions, scenes often jumped rather abruptly and it was very noticeable.
Anxious to read more-Diving into Hardpressed in 3,2,1…..
Hardpressed 4.5 stars
My previous issue of transitions seemed to disappear or not really bother me in this book.
Hardpressed starts where Hardwired ends and it is filled with way more twists and turns than Hardwired. Tons of things happen where I’m like whoa, I didn’t see that coming. This series has captivated me and has me moving quickly to the next book.
It’s still sexy.
What new twists and turns will Erica and Blake face? I can;t wait to find out. Diving into Hardline in 5…4…3…2…1
Hardwired: 2.5-3 ut oh stars
Okay, I have been enjoying this series up until chapter 9. Ugh, Ugh, Ugh. I feel like Erica is a victim and is in way over her head with Blake. She is going along with his insane jealous tendencies and I really think their relationship becomes unhealthy in this book.
Check out what Erica says,
“I want you. I can’t promise I’ll be perfect, but I’ll try to be what you want, everything you need.”
Ugh, I hate when women give themselves no worth, and I feel like Erica doesn’t value herself.
I hope like crazy that in the next book Erica gets some much-needed therapy and not in the form of a belt.
Moving on to something else and coming back to the next book, in 2,1…
Hard Limit 3 stars
Okay, so I waited about a week to dive into this one. There was plenty of hot sex scenes and I could dub this the anal book. The scene is good. Very Hot. I found there to be a little too much sex in this one and I wanted to dive more into the characters feelings.
I wanted Erica to deal with some of her emotional issues more in this book. In book 3 I was left not liking Erica at all and she came back a little for me, but not enough.
Still this book holds a lot of promise. It has a quick pace that makes it easy to fly through it.
Overall series stars 3.5
