Slut by Jettie Woodruff
who you are, and where you came from was like driving on a road with
only right turns. All leading in the same direction. A direction I
wanted to avoid, a dark tunnel that I had to enter if I ever wanted
answers.
Losing my memory wasn’t the worst thing in the world.
Learning, who I was, and the secrets I had kept was way worse. The
unbearable pull and the passion we shared, mixed with the past that I
didn’t want to remember, created a whole new storm. The perfect storm of
two kinds of crazy. Stupid little fish.
Woodruff is a lifelong writer, living in a pretend world since she was a
little girl. Jettie spent hours filling pages of spiral notebooks with a
number two pencil and a wild imagination. Her very first story was a
scifi of all things.
Jettie writes more along the lines of erotica
now. She likes to keep her readers on edge, and deliver a story that
will pull out every emotion possible. Writing on the edge of taboo and
dark, Jettie hopes to distribute an adventure you’ll not soon forget.
Married for twenty five years, raising two boys and one girl has left
lots of writing material. She has recently become a grandma to not one,
but two of the most beautiful little girls on planet earth.
Jettie also hates doing this bio. That’s all you get. She loves to read and write. What else is there? <3

My review 3.75
Oh, what a tale of lies and deceit does Jettie Woodruff tell. You must read Suit before Slut (it’s a twin duo). This book was highly anticipated after the doozy of a cliffhanger in Suit, and Jettie was nice enough to not make us wait too long. (IMO if you’re going to leave us with a cliffy, this is how you do it)
As soon as Slut starts, we are full steam ahead, thrown right in where we left off. Details are unravelled and piece by piece we are shown how horrible Gabby and Paxton’s life are.
I had to be subjective with this book, and with Pax. In general, his preppy appearance and cocksure attitude didn’t do it for me, so I had to look at this from Gabby’s POV. I think often as a reader you want to throw yourself in their shoes, pretend it’s you, see how you would feel in situations. I can tell you every time Pax started to redeem himself, he screwed it all up again.
But as everything is unraveled, it becomes clear that Gabby and Pax are both equally messed up individuals.
I think Jettie shows utter brilliance in her ability to leave your heart racing with this story. She writes a suspenseful tale that will keep you planted in your seat, reading.
I did feel like this started off super fast and then after halfway through I started to be hot with far too many details. I wanted, no I needed to find out what was happening and I found myself wanting to skim some things so that I could get answers.
Overall these two books will take you places you might not feel comfortable, but you will be entranced.
Kerry’s 3.75 Star Review
Suit left us off with so many unanswered questions, secrets… We were all wondering who was it Gabriella or Lizzy? Will she gain her memory? Will will really get to know Paxton?
These are the answer we are all waiting to know. The secrets and lies, mutilation through the whole story will have you on edge. We really did learn how they shared there past, why they hide the past. The couple showed us the love they have for their girls and would the love they shared be enough to get through the lies.
This is alittle different than what we except from Jettie it’s refreshing, humorous and yes she didn’t leave out the sizzling chemistry it wouldn’t be a Jettie book without it. It’s well written and I read it in one sitting it kept me guessing the whole time.
I can’t wait for the novella maybe we will get more answers.
