DAWN’S 4 BLUSH REVIEW
GAHHHHHH. Cardeno C got me again with Rough Edges. Two more boys to add to my list of favorites. I’m a sucker for a friend/enemy story. Rich pretty boy Brent and brooding hard working Kyle. Talk about polar opposites, but you can’t always judge a book by its cover especially when it comes to these boys. They are so much more then what they want us to see…..
I loved the dialogue and banter between the two. Kyle is so mean to Brent!! He tries to knock him down every chance he gets… But trust me, Brent can hold his own. See Kyle’s problem is he has no respect for Brent’s lazy lifestyle. Brent was born with a silver spoon, while Kyle had to do everything to not only survive but to be successful. He’s also mad at himself for being so attracted to such a person! So, when Kyle’s life hits rock bottom, the one person who is there for him is none other than Brent! Could he have been wrong about Brent all along? Could pretty boy Brent be just what Kyle needs and vice versa???
I really enjoyed getting to know the guys and seeing their relationship mature and grow. It’s amazing how much information and character development CC can put in a short story. Definitely a fun, flirty and hot read….

DAWN’S 4 BLUSH REVIEW
I’m usually not a fan of insta-love or stalkerish behavior but it totally works with this story….
I loved Clint & Hawk. I found them to be interesting, intense and oh so yummy. CC was able to give us quite a bit about them in a short amount of time. Down on his luck, Clint is sweet and vulnerable. While confident Hawk is a take-charge alpha male. When Hawk finally gets his chance with Clint, he’s a man on a mission! He will do whatever it take to make Clint his (and I mean whatever it takes!) Since the feeling is completely mutual it didn’t take much convincing. The chemistry and heat between these guys is sizzling… Add that to the over the top declarations of love and I was completely enamored! It all just worked for me. It made me smile, swoon and laugh. I would love Jumping In to be made into a full-size novel!!
