I’ve always heard that you should marry someone that loves you more than you love them – that if you do this, you’ll always be happy.
Did I follow that advice? No. Am I happy? No. And is Finn happy? No.
I’m stuck in a marriage with an ex-Marine suffering from PTSD. I’m not sure we’re in love anymore. We have a baby who brings us both joy—but it’s not enough. I feel like my life is crumbling around me and I’m struggling to keep the pieces together.
Someone from my past has sauntered back in quietly, unknowingly. To my surprise, the attention is what I was craving.
I have to make a decision. Do I stay and fight, or leave, when the idea of escape is beautiful and tempting?
I’m always the one who loves more.

RS Medina charges the book world with her debut novel, Love Me More! Hang onto your seats, grab your tissues, and get ready for GASPS and a head swirling tragedy because this is NOT something that will leave you smiling!
Finn and Blair’s story of their marriage and how they deal with Finn’s PTSD isn’t something to be taken lightly. It’s very real and very raw. How RS Medina describes the challenges of marriage with a small child, with the issues of PTSD also is something to be applauded. Every woman will identify with this story one way or another. You will feel for each character… maybe (smirks). But their thoughts are what have crossed our minds a million times. It’s our dirtiest secrets on paper, and RS Medina is pulling them out of us.
This is her first novel and I was incredibly surprised at how well it was written! The way she jumps from past to present and she weaves characters together is remarkable. Love Me More is not for the faint of heart and there is NOTHING happy about it! It is emotional, and sad, and IT’S LIFE! But it’s absolutely one of my top reads of this year already!!!!! GET THIS NOW!!! And keep your eyes peeled for Miss Medina! I have a feeling were going to see some great things from her!
