I have been a Corinne Michaels fan from the beginning and she just gets better and better. Her stories are original, heartfelt and I love each one for different reasons.
I am always up for a new series, getting to know new characters is like making new best friends. We briefly met Jessica in Stay for Me. She’s returned home after 18 years of being gone. There are some ghosts in her past that bring her back and she needs to deal with them but is she ready to face her biggest regret, Grayson? This part of her past has always been a sore spot for both Grayson and Jess.
These two have an attraction/connection that is so strong that even being apart for so long, they can’t deny it. But there is so much that has changed that the obstacles seem unlikely to defeat. In Corinne fashion, she got me on this emotional rollercoaster that I couldn’t get off. I couldn’t stop reading, I NEEDED to know more. Jessica is so strong for someone who’s taken blow after blow in life. Her strength is beautiful. Grayson has had a good life, well it looks good from the outside. He’s from a wealthy family, sisters and brothers – a beautiful daughter but his path hasn’t been all good. He’s a good guy and the way he is with Jess (and his daughter) or so sweet. I can see why so many readers are claiming Grayson as theirs.
I also love that Corinne set us up for the next book in the series and oooohhh…it’s gonna be good.
