#Review~~ Last Resort by K. Bromberg
by K. Bromberg
I was never supposed to see him again. Him being the man wearing the perfectly tailored suit who oozed an intoxicating mixture of wealth, rebellion, and sex appeal.
Still riding the high from last night, I walk in to meet my new client, and he’s wearing that same dangerous smirk that reeled me in hours ago.
Yes, I’m consulting for Callahan Sharpe. And yes, he’s that Callahan Sharpe.
Billionaire heir apparent who abides by no rules, bucks convention, and is determined to complete one final project to honor his late father’s legacy before walking away from the family business for good. Luckily and unluckily for me, I’ve been tasked to go to the Virgin Islands to help accomplish his goal. Callahan has no problem breaking his company’s no fraternization rule, but not me. There’s too much at stake.
What could possibly go wrong when you’re forced to work—and live—side by side with a man you can’t resist?
Louisa’ 4.5 Blush Review
So be prepared to be thrown into some serious sexy – pretty quick with Last Resort. Sutton and Callahan (aka Collins and Johnny) meet at a bar, and within a few hours, they are having some of the hottest sex I have ever read!
Imagine having this unforgettable night with a stranger…a man whose name you don’t even know. You called him Johnny because he was drinking Johnny Walker, and he called you Collins because you were drinking Tom Collins.
Well, imagine you head into work the next day – one of the biggest days in your career and find yourself face to face with THREE men who all look like the man you had the tryst with. TRIPLETS…hot, sexy triplets. And you can’t figure out which one is the one you spent the night with! Boom – this is precisely what K. Bromberg did, and watching it unfold for Sutton (and Callahan) was freaking fantastic.
These two are forced to work together on a beautiful island. They are there for work, but the pull between them is apparent, and the angst is high. Sutton isn’t looking to date, she’s just come out of a verbally abusive relationship and is starting a new chapter in her career, and she doesn’t want to screw anything up.
Callahan is known for his philandering ways, and taking up with Sutton would look bad to his brothers.
Watching these two try to deny what’s happening between them was great; seeing them grow as characters what fantastic. As always, K. Bromberg gave us a sexy hot story with substance!
