Review & Giveaway ~~ Brave Enough by M. Leighton
From the author of the New York Times bestselling Bad Boys novels comes another dark, sexy story…
Is she brave enough to give her heart to a man she only thought she knew?
He was the most charismatic man I’d ever met. Strong, tough, brave. Bold as hell. Something told me Tag Barton could have anything—anyone—he wanted…and he wanted me. It didn’t matter that he was wrong for me in practically every way possible. It didn’t matter that my father would hate it.
I couldn’t resist him. Even if I’d known who he really was and what he was really capable of.
When he suggested we pretend to be engaged, I thought he was the answer to all my problems. He wasn’t. And, in his wake, he left nothing but scorched earth and me, just another casualty of my father’s war.
Can I believe him now when he tells me he loves me? Or is he nothing more than a beautiful, breathtaking lie?

LOUISA’S 4 STAR REVIEW
Michelle Leighton has given us just one more of her amazing alpha males from the Tall, Dark and Dangerous series. I loved the first 2 books and this one just the same. It’s a little different, Tag is not quite as much and outwardly ALPHA male we met with Rogan in Tough Enough and Jasper in Strong Enough but Tag can surely hold his own against his brothers in arms.
Tag has returned to his childhood home, the home where his mother was the housekeeper and father ran the winery. It was also the childhood home of Weatherly O’Neill. Weatherly has returned to her family home in hopes to find an answer to her father’s ultimatum…marry the man he has chosen for her or lose her inheritance.
As Weatherly drives up to her winery she notices a beautiful man and little does she know he may just be the answer to all her problems. The attraction is there – instantly and as they begin to spend time together they really do enjoy each other’s company. Tag has the great idea to help out Weatherly – marry Tag, this way she can get out of the dilemma with her father, yes she loses her inheritance but she doesn’t have to be an arm piece for her father’s associate and hey she gets to spend some time with a gorgeous man! The instal-love was a bit of an issue for me because I am not a big fan, but the relationship did grow as the book went on, so there was growth which i needed to see to be invested in the couple.
Tag has some secrets and that fact alone will keep you reading. He’s Tall, he’s Dark but the Dangerous part for this book wasn’t actual danger but danger of falling in love or breaking each other’s heart. I needed to know what Tag was hiding! There are a few twists and some serious sexy going on in this book that will also keep you reading.
If you are a Michelle Leighton fan like I am, you don’t want to miss this installment of the Tall, Dark and Dangerous Series.
“Brave Enough was everything that I could have wanted in this final installment of the series. It had heat, chemistry, romance, raw characters and of course a little drama thrown into the mix to give readers a full spectrum of what it means to TRUST and LOVE. From the first to the very last page, M. Leighton had me devouring this book in one sitting and left a permanent smile on my face as she set hearts ablaze with this beautiful, heartfelt, and wholesome love story.” ~Michelle from Four Chicks Flipping Pages
“Of all the books in the series, this one is probably my favorite. The storytelling that Leighton does felt so effortless and the characters are ones that complement each other so well, so you can’t help but root for them. Now that we say goodbye to the Tall, Dark, and Dangerous men, I’m curious to see where M. Leighton will go next!” ~ Candy from Prisoners of Print
New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, M. Leighton, is a native of Ohio. She relocated to the warmer climates of the South, where she can be near the water all summer and miss the snow all winter. Possessed of an overactive imagination from early in her childhood, Michelle finally found an acceptable outlet for her fantastical visions: literary fiction. Having written over a dozen novels, these days Michelle enjoys letting her mind wander to more romantic settings with sexy Southern guys, much like the one she married and the ones you’ll find in her latest books. When her thoughts aren’t roaming in that direction, she’ll be riding wild horses, skiing the slopes of Aspen or scuba diving with a hot rock star, all without leaving the cozy comfort of her office.
About Michelle: I love coffee and chocolate, even more so when they are combined. I’m convinced that one day they could be the basis for world peace. I also love the color red and am seriously considering dying my hair.
Author M. Leighton is currently working on something new.
This might be an Indie Pubbed Book in 2016.
