I devoured this book in almost a day!

My favorite boys, Justin & Landry are back! Their presence is known and they make an appearance, but this book Is all about Colin & Riley’s exhilarating and extremely emotional journey. Two sweet broken boys. Each broken in their own way. Colin feels like a failure, while Riley is just lost! Both seeming to be at a crossroad in life, searching for answers. Neither one knowing what their future holds.

While Colin was making his way home cross-country from California, he picked up Riley, who was hitchhiking from a gas station in Nevada. Was it destiny that brought them together? Little did they know how much their lives would change… This cross-country road trip is similar to Justin & Landry’s. It starts off carefree, but there’s a cloud following them… There’s a sadness in Riley that he is losing a battle too. The closer they get the more apparent it is… All I wanted to do was hug Riley and take his pain away. He’s so sweet and lovable. Colin has a nurturing personality with a huge heart. He is simply a great guy. Slowly but surely, they are working their way into each other’s hearts… All Colin wants to do is take care of Riley and Riley is holding onto Colin for dear life… as opposite as they are, could they be just what each other needs or will Riley’s darkness takeover? This is an absolutely beautiful love story. I love how it dealt with Riley’s issues. No sugarcoating. It was disturbing and genuine. I felt Riley’s anguish, as well as Colin’s helplessness. While helping Riley, can Colin come to terms witn his own life? Can they get their happily ever after or is it too late? So much turmoil, you will be holding your breath….
