Review: ADORE ME (KC #4.5) by Jillian Dodd
Join Keatyn on Thanksgiving Break in this Keatyn Chronicles novella.
I’ve finally become the kind of girl my little sisters could look up to.
Except for the lies.
Lying to my friends is killing me.
And the longer I’m there—the closer we get—the more I feel like I’m being eaten from the inside out.
If I go back to Eastbrooke, I’ll end up nothing but a shell.
So I’m not going back.
I’m going to St. Croix by myself. And for the first time in my life, I’m okay with being alone.
Except . . . I don’t actually end up on the island alone.
This is novella is number 4.5 of a six book series.
This is book 4.5 of the 6 book series.

I absolutely loved reading all the previous Keatyn Chronicles and Adore Me is no different! These books are the ultimate in telling a serial story full of drama, learning to be who you truly are, and finding your one true love. Adore Me is a novella that spans the Thanksgiving break when Keatyn leaves Eastbrooke for the holiday. It picks up immediately where Love Me, book 4, ends and it’s critical that you read this series in order. With that said, I discovered the Keatyn Chronicles when the first three were available and I could not put them down! I think I read them in the span of a couple of days. I swear, Jillian Dodd must sprinkle those freakin’ books with a word drug…I just can’t stop myself from the addiction of Keatyn!!
Keatyn has grown and changed throughout the series and Adore Me shows us just how much she’s grown and how strong she’s becoming over this journey. I don’t want to give anything away but I loved seeing Keatyn in her element of the beach, surrounded by friends, both old and new. Friendships are strengthened, love is in the air, and laughter and tears are in abundance…and the moments with Aiden, Damian, and Brooklyn (even if I am a staunch Team Aiden fan!)…*sigh*
In the space of a few days in Keatyn’s life, quite a lot occurs, secrets appear to be revealed, and there are so many swoon-worthy points. And I say ‘appeared to be revealed’ because Jillian Dodd is brilliant at throwing what seem to be clues into her books as to who Keatyn’s one true love is but I don’t think we’ll truly know until the very end. Which makes this series all that more thrilling and has me thinking about it long after I’ve finished the last installment.
Adore Me hooked me right back into Keatyn’s life, the decisions she has to face, and has me desperate to know what happens next! If you haven’t read the Keatyn Chronicles yet, grab them and start reading! I bet you’ll fall in love with Keatyn and all of her friends and family.

The Keatyn Chronicles may be a guilty pleasure. Yes, you are reading about a bunch of high schoolers but with Keats you just can’t turn away.
Adore Me for me felt like a really good appetizer. You get more Keatyn and Aiden. Aiden is so sweet. He really tries to understand the dynamic between Keatyn and Damian and Brooklyn. There is something that is stable and endearing about Aiden. Even though he ruined her lips.
I think you are left with no questions about who Moonboy is. There were parts to this that I wanted to move a tad quicker for me, but being a novella it is a fairly quick read. In some ways I felt like it was a tease. Although a really good tease.
Damian! Oh Damian! We get a ton of him in this story. I think he really made this one. Damian is only 18 but to me he feels much older which may be why I connected to him in this story so much. Damian falls in love and for once it is not another person in love with Keatyn. He has a love story that I hope we get to see so much more as we continue on the Keatyn journey.
Ever the idealistic romantics, Keatyn, Peyton, Aiden and Damian make this story.
Although I kinda got a thing for B.
If you have not read the Keatyn Chronicles yet, be ready this is one YA that you wont want to end.
