Releast Blitz & Reviews ~~ Hard to Score by K. Bromberg
Louisa’s 4.5 Blush Review
I have been a K. Bromberg fan from the get-go and there is a reason I continue to read her books so faithfully. She has the ability to bring you into a story, into characters’ lives that make you feel like you are in their inner circle – that you are part of their story.
This story, the 3rd in the series about the Kincaid girls…women who are in the male-dominated sports management field. This book is Brexton’s story. She’s tough and takes no sh*t from anyone! But she has a heart underneath all the bravado and some insecurities (but don’t we all). Her family, growing up, was close with the Bowman family and then there was a falling out. One that Brexton never understood. Drew Bowman, grew up with Brexton, having family vacations together, and then without warning the family friendship ends, it was heartbreaking for him in so many ways.
Fast forward and Brexton and Drew’s paths cross and there are immediate sparks – but with their uncertain past – they are hesitant. There was chemistry between these two before they even admitted to each other or themselves that this was inevitable. K. Bromberg’s characters are some of my favorite. No one is perfect and we see all the flaws with both Brexton and Drew and that is what makes me love these two so much. Their ability to be honest with each other when they aren’t sure of exactly what’s going on – there are no misunderstandings of feeling because these two are so honest that it’s refreshing. I loved the intimacy these two shared, in and out of the bedroom.
Hard to Score is my new favorite in this series.
Kerry’s 5 Blush Review
Hard to score is the third book in the Play Hard series but it can be read as a standalone.
I have read all K Bromberg books and once again – I fell hard! Brexton and Drew’s story is a second chance romance.
Brexton and Drew were childhood friends, shared their first kiss, the memories of their childhoods were intertwined. Their families were close until falling out.
Many years have passed and Brexton and Drew finally cross paths again. There is no denying that something is still there. Drew has secrets, he’s still hurting and has kept his family secrets and it has him so closed off. Brexton is strong, smart, and confident. Drew is drawn to the woman she’s become and Brexton is finding that Drew is all she ever hoped he would be.
I enjoyed these two so much, witty banter, the chemistry was off the charts.
Hard to Score by K. Bromberg is now live!
I’ve signed numerous players to my family’s agency–I assumed winning over my next client would be just as easy.
The last thing I expected was to run into the boy who took my first kiss and broke my heart: only now Drew Bowman is all grown up. Sexy. Scandal-tainted. Second-string. The crush I never got over. I tell myself work is the reason I can’t get him out of my head. I tell him his talent far outweighs his position, and I know I can help. I lie and lie, because admitting that I want a second chance at my first love is impossible. Some lines cannot be crossed, and ours was drawn in the sand years ago. *** I’m supposed to hate her. I’ve been told so time and again for ten years – her father ruined our family, smeared my name before my career even began. But that’s not what I’m feeling now. Brexton Kincade just strode out of my memories and onto my field. Driven. Determined. Grown up. The Capulet to my Montague. Being with her would be an unforgivable sin against my father, but I can’t resist the pull between us. Even if it means hiding what we have. Even if it means confronting the secrets I’ve always feared were lies.

New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary romance novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate but can’t help to love.
A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow and her mind scattered in too many different directions. Since publishing her first book on a whim in 2013, Kristy has sold over one and a half million copies of her books across eighteen different countries and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over thirty times. Her Driven trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed) is currently being adapted for film by the streaming platform, Passionflix, with the first movie (Driven) out now. With her imagination always in overdrive, she is currently scheming, plotting, and swooning over her latest hero.
