LOUISA’S 4, SEXY AS SIN, BLUSH REVIEW
JA Huss always delivers a hot and sexy book and this one is no different. The difference is this time she’s added a co-author who offered a new exciting perspective to a HOT AF book. Johnathan McClain and JA Huss writing team blew me away with a story that knocked me on my ass. A story that captivated me immediately and kept a hold of me and my breath til the very last page. Left me unable to take a deep breath with needing more.
Two damaged souls looking to get by. Their relationship starting in a dream and evenutally becoming reality, but reality isn’t always what it seems. Writing a book with such sadness and disparity wiht the cheekyness of Tyler made the blow to my heart just a little less feirce at times. But for the most part, this book is hard and sad, often dark but sexy and filled with unexplainable passion between 2 people that need someone to help them heal.
Written in dual POV so the thoughts of both Tyler and Maddie were given to offer insight into their hearts, lives and soul. I can not wait for the next book to come because I NEED MORE!
*My first JA Huss books were the Rook and Ronin series, this book reminded me how much I enjoy JA Huss’s writing style, story telling and gave me the added bonus of Johnathan McClain’s insight. If you loved Rook and Ronin as much as I did, I have a feeling this series is going to battle it for my new favorite.

penetrating me. In every sense of the word. I have never in my life—not
once—cried during sex, but I can feel the tears starting to well up behind my
eyes. And I have no earthly idea why.

Naked and exposed, we both look at each other in the warm light of this nearly
empty apartment, with the frivolous concerns of the rest of the world carrying
on beyond his massive windows, unaware that we are here. And I feel vulnerable.
feels it too because now he takes me by the hand and leads me over to the
kitchen area, which is a little darker, a little more hidden. When we land
there, he picks me up around the waist and plops me onto his kitchen island.
“Ah! It’s cold,” I let out.

that inside there are only restaurant menus, some extra chopsticks still in
their paper wrappers, and an assortment of condoms.

great joys, but, y’know, been there, done that.” He winks again. Fuck, he’s
hot. Scraggly beard and all. Although I’m suddenly trying to imagine what it’d
be like if he shaved. What the face that’s hiding under that mess of hair might
look like.
