Release Day Review ~~ The One For Me by Corinne Micheals
Louisa’s 4.5 Blush Review
Once again Corinne Micheals has given us a swoony man. Sean is just a good guy. He could be a hard ass, he’s a professional baseball player who has it all…at least that’s what he thinks.
Devney has been Sean’s bestie for years, but underneath it all, there is a spark. They both know it but are too afraid to “ruin” their amazing friendship. Unbeknownst to them, that friendship is the building blocks for an epic romance.
Returning to his family home after leaving and swearing to never return – Sean finds himself rethinking it all. There are a few obstacles that may make this relationship the hardest thing he’s ever done. As always, there are quite a few bumps in the road and secrets that could ruin it all.
Corinne has woven the stories of the Arrowood brothers perfectly, interweaving their stories with each book. Each can absolutely be read as a stand-alone but I feel as though they are even better when read in succession. Seeing the other brothers as their lives have continued is one of my favorite parts of the series, checking back in with the brothers – and even a few characters from other series – just makes me smile even more.
The romance is off the charts in this book and is one of my new favorites from Corinne Michaels.

The One for Me
(The Arrowood Brothers #3)
Devney Maxwell has been my best friend since we were six years old, but she has no idea I’m in love with her.
Even when I’m on the road playing professional baseball, she’s my home—the only one I’ve ever known. But when I return to Sugarloaf to care for the family farm, I discover she’s trying to talk herself into a life with the wrong man … and I become desperate.
It only takes a single, perfect kiss to change everything.
I have six months to get it right with Devney—to convince her to leave this town and turn that kiss into forever.
I aim to do just that as I spend my days coaching her nephew’s baseball team, fixing up the farm, and loving her with all I have. Finally, it seems like our relationship is secure and we’ll find a way to make it work.
Then tragedy strikes … changing her life forever. She’s needed here more than ever, but as for me—there’s no way I can stay.
I know she’s the one for me, but I might have to let her go …
