Release Blitz~~The Weight of Life by Whitney Barbetti @barbetti
Tera’s 4 Blush Review
I made a great pick for my first Whitney Barbetti book. The writing is wonderful, the characters perfect and the feels so feely.
Ames and Mila are broken. During a chance meeting on London Bridge, their worlds collide and we are given a story where the “sun” brightens the “dark.” Mila showed Ames there are different ways to greive and that even though a person may be grieving, there’s no reason that person can’t be happy. There is no timeline for grief. There is no reason anyone has to let go and forget. Both of these characters were so amazing because Whitney depicted both of them in times of strength and weakness. We got to see them be human. We saw them fall in love. We felt them heal. I was particularly impressed with Ames and watching his character change and grow and heal from one chapter the the next. The sub-characters were also wonderful and I can only hope to see more from this world.
