Kerry’s 4.5 Blush Review
I just recently discovered Leddy Harper. A friend suggested I read her and I’m so glad I took a chance because she writes some amazing stories! Roommate Disagreement grabbed my attention from the very beginning. There’s so much humor, sweetness, with some tough and heartbreaking moments. Will this agreement work or will it be null and void?
Jade’s a single mom who’s desperate to find a place for her and her two year old daughter Aria. Jade is smart, strong, sweet, and she puts everyone first. Jade is guarded and a bit closed off. She answers an ad for a roommate, but she never excepted to find someone like Cash.
Cash is looking for companionship, and friendship without the commitment. Cash is very assiduous to details. He pays close attention to his surroundings, can read a person like a book, but when it comes to Jade he can’t figure her out.
Aria’s character is so cute. She brings out the best in everyone. She’s the light for everyone around her that sees nothing but darkness.
All of Leddy’s characters had me laughing and crying throughout. Leddy has so much to give a reader in her books. There’s not one part of the story you can’t like. She has a way with words. I can’t wait to see what else Leddy has in store.
She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters. She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females. The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.
