Louisa’s 4 Blush Review
Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward left us with one hell of a cliffhanger with Rebel Heir and Rebel Heart picks up exactly where it left off.
Gia and Rush are left with one hell of a situation. Neither of them knows how to handle this one of a kind situation. Rush loves Gia but he’s been put into a situation that he’s unsure he can be totally committed.
The angst, the hard times these two go through makes them stronger but the trial and tribulations could be fatal to their relationship.
This story kept me on the edge of my seat and read this book in one sitting, turning the pages faster and faster to see how this twisty-turny story could possibly have an ending I would love. I can’t say too much because this book is filled with spoilers and everyone deserves to read this book and have their mouth gaped open at times!
Once again, Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have succeeded in giving me a book that I love.
Sandy’s 4 Blush Review
The few months between Rebel Heir and Rebel Heart were excruciating! The cliffhanger was crazy good and I hate cliffhangers – this one gave me heart palpitations.
Book 2 in the Rush Series Duet picks up right where Book #1 left off, at Elliot’s (Rush’s brother) birthday party. I’m the angst queen. You like angst? Well you’re going to get plenty of it here.
Gia and Rush are about to be torn to pieces by choices made before they met. The only thing they know for sure is that they desperately love each other. Gia is scared of what the future will bring and whether or not she can handle it. Rush is scared because he’s not sure that he can be present for Gia in the way she needs him to be.
A drunken conversation with a stranger and a trip to see his childhood best friend (a SHE) keep pointing to where his heart lies. Throw in a near death emergency for Edward (Rush’s father) who never gave a damn about him and we see what kind of man Rush really is at his core.
You know that saying….if you love something set it free? Well? Then what? It’s difficult to say what I really feel without spoiling it for you. Let me say that these two really talk and listen to each other. Each giving the other the necessary time to deal with their feelings despite their internal battle.
Tears, I cried actual tears through the last chapter. Vi and Penelope managed to once again give is a satisfying read that ticked off all my boxes. Sex, angst, romance, heartbreak and a dose of healing that I was not expecting with a great epilogue.

How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons:
Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check.
Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check.
How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons:
Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season.
Check. Check. Check.
I should add—especially when the guy is your sexy, tattooed God of a boss.
Especially when he not only owns your place of employment but inherited half of the town.
Especially when he’s mean to you.
Or so I thought.
Until one night when he demanded I get in his car so he could drive me home because he didn’t want me walking in the dark.
That was sort of how it all started with Rush.
And then little by little, some of the walls of this hardass man started to come down.
I never expected that the two of us, seemingly opposites from the outside, would grow so close.
I wasn’t supposed to fall for the rebel heir, especially when he made it clear he didn’t want to cross the line with me.
As the temperature turned cooler, the nights became hotter. My summer became a lot more interesting—and complicated.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.
