I was giving this as an ARC and I didn’t know what to except, this is the first time I have read anything by K. Larsen but it won’t be my last. Your emotions are going to be running on high, this is one suspense book you can’t put down.
Betrayal, secrets, hurt, agony, this book has it all, K.Larsen has delivered one book you won’t put down till the very end. Suspense like no other, when your reading you think you have figured it out and then another twist comes along, you will be so intrigued, speechless, your jaw will drop. I was blown away by this story– words can’t express what I feel, K. Larsen has written the best suspense book I have read I a long time, I highly recommend this. |

Not unlike Kerry, I went into this book blind. She had read Jezebel and immediately told me all about it and I couldn’t wait to dive right into it! I was so lucky to read this on vacation and I have to say it’s a perfect summer/beach (well I was at the lake) read!
This is not anything like you are expecting. There are two stories going on here. Annabelle’s been “sentenced” to community service at a local nursing home for a DUI. This is where she meets the sweet an insightful Jezebel.
Jezebel sheds light on Annabelle’s life, she is a no holds barred woman who tells it like it is and that is exactly what Annabelle needs at this point in her young life. While teaching Annabelle how to handle her family and love life, she begins to share a love story. An epic love story. Celeste and Gabriel…a story that will forever be in your mind.

Absolutely, positively you MUST read Jezebel first.
You then will NEED to read Lying In Wait. It will explain how everything came about in Jezebel. I really discuss what this book is about without ruining Jezebel for you. Which, I would never do because Jezebel will knock your socks off and leave you gasping. Lying In Wait will answer all the questions you have once finishing Jezebel.
K. Larsen is now on my list of must read authors, she has captivated me with her unique writing and ability to suck me into a book and not letting go. Even when I was finished, I was still in Paris in the late 80’s and 90’s. Felicitations to K. Larsen on a book that has brought me to my knee’s and taken a hold of my heart…and squeezed…really hard!
