Reminders of Him
by Colleen Hoover
A troubled young mother yearns for a shot at redemption in this heartbreaking yet hopeful story from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover.
After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, hoping to reunite with her four-year-old daughter. But the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in her daughter’s life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself.
The only person who hasn’t closed the door on her completely is Ledger Ward, a local bar owner and one of the few remaining links to Kenna’s daughter. But if anyone were to discover how Ledger is slowly becoming an important part of Kenna’s life, both would risk losing the trust of everyone important to them.
The two form a connection despite the pressure surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk. Kenna must find a way to absolve the mistakes of her past in order to build a future out of hope and healing.

Louisa’s 5 Blush Review
I am once again (not surprised though) in love with a Colleen Hoover book.
As always – I go into a Colleen book blind and I am so glad I did. I would say this – the angst level in this book is at an all-time high.
I swear I had a sore throat for days after reading because of the lump in my throat while reading.
Getting to know these characters while reading made me want to be a better person. Both Kenna and Ledger will teach you something with their words, actions, and being.
Be prepared to ride the emotional rollercoaster that is a Colleen Hoover book because this might be the best rollercoaster I have ever been on and I want to ride it again!
You know it’s a great book when you are finished and you just wish you could feel it all again for the first time!
Tera’s 5 Blush Review
I don’t think Colleen Hoover will ever disappoint. She once again writes a story so captivating I read it in a day. I loved Kenna immediately. And I loved that Ledger was so quick to forgive. It is truly a unique story on what some would maybe consider “forbidden love.” The angst in this story between the two was incredible! Ms. Hoover continues to provide these incredible stories that always seem so fresh and new.
Reminders of Him is no exception as we embark on an incredible journey of redemption. A tale of not only forgiving others but also learning to forgive oneself.
Christina’s 5 Blush Review
One of Colleen Hoover’s best books to date, Reminders of Him is a story of healing and redemption, acceptance, and most of all, forgiveness.
Kenna is perhaps, one of Hoovers most transformational characters. I can’t think of a stronger heroine to date. And when she and Ledger come together their chemistry is both toxic and explosive. If I was given only one word to write this review with, it would be ANGST. Holy moly is this book chock full of sweet, sweet angst. I looooove angsty romances. The kind where I just know the two characters shouldn’t be together but I’m rooting for them anyway. That’s what Hoover gives us over and over again in Reminders of Him. Good old angst, steamy romance, and a redemptive journey to forgiveness so painful at times, it steals your breath. The moments throughout the book where I literally could feel Kenna’s pain slicing through my chest are too many to count, and it’s a testament to the writing. I had tears and smiles, and heartache over and over again but by the end, everyone is where they’re supposed to be in the best possible way.
With the exception of Hopeless and possibly All Your Perfects, Reminders of Him shot to the top of my Hoover favorites list. Anyone who is already a fan will absolutely love this book. And if you haven’t read Colleen yet, what are you waiting for?
