Til the Last Lyric is the emotional conclusion to the Life of Debauchery’s duet – the story of Cash and Journey – an age gap romance that pulls you in and doesn’t let go until the last word. Reading book one – From the First Verse is necessary and an absolute. If you haven’t read book one yet – get them both and binge read – IMMEDIATELY!
Blown away! That’s the two words that came to mind when I finished. Author M. Robinson has brought me to my knees with Cash and Journey’s story. The twists, the turn were unexpected and kept me reading for hours upon end.
When it comes to the Good Ol’ Boys – Austin is my favorite…and Cash reminded me of Austin. Journey & Cash’s story brought me back to those feelings of deep despair, the need and the sadness. But I also was given the redemption, the recovery, the love, the emotion that M. Robison always gives us. Oh, the tears – M. Robinson prides herself on getting her readers to cry – to feel – to live what her characters are feeling, and this book is no different.
In my opinion the writing this book is some of M. Robinson’s best. Her ability to transform me into the lives of her characters, make me feel what they feel, see what they see was superb.

I devoured ‘Till the Last Lyric! I couldn’t get enough of Cash and Journey’s incredible love story. It took my breath away watching Johnny aka Cash, Junie aka Journey’s story. Their story is rocky and often destructive.
Cash and Journey’s saga continues in Till the Last Lyric (the first book in the series From the First Verse in the Life of Debauchery duet). Their relationship wasn’t conventional but it worked for them. From the outside, it looked like Cash McGraw but looks are deceiving. At what price was he keeping this charade going? These lies took his soul and destroyed everything he loved. Journey’s need to save Cash from self-destruction was needed but was she too late?
Cash and Journey relationship was always unique since they were kids. Their bond was unbreakable, even as they grew up and apart it was still there. Even though Cash is 30 and Journey is 18 their relationship was one everyone hopes to find.
My heart shattered at times, then mended back together in true M.Robinson fashion. I was drowning in emotions, my heart hurt so much for Cash as he was drowning in his downward spiral but only he can save himself.
