(Gabriel’s Inferno #4)
Louisa’s 5 Blush Review
Sylvain Reynard captured my attention back in 2012 when I didn’t even own a Kindle. I had borrowed my sister’s Nook for a week while on vacation. I was intrigued by the first few chapters. The alpha male that I have measured up all other to over the years has been Gabriel.
Having the opportunity to read an ARC (a paper ARC) is beyond special to me. This will forever be a coveted ARC of mine.
Gabriel’s Promise is exactly that. Everything he’s ever promised to Julia is coming true. Their happily ever after. This book is their journey into parenthood and it’s the swooniest and sweetest you will ever see Professor Emerson and it’s absolute perfection.
There are definitely some bumps and twists and persons who don’t want to allow Gabriel and Julia have that HEA…but as we know, Gabriel will not allow anyone to stand in his way of making Julia’s life all he wants it to be.
Once again Sylvain Reynard has taken romance to the next level. Beautiful writing, written words that bring you into the story and another unique and thrilling story from Sylvain Reynard.
Kerry’s 4 Blush Review
This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2020. This is the 4th book in the Gabriel’s Inferno series. The first two books were my favorite. My love for Professor Emerson runs deep.. he will be my book boyfriend for life.
When Gabriel and Julia Emerson first lay eyes on their newborn daughter, Clare, they realize life as they know it will never be the same. Gabriel has vowed to be a good father when he suddenly receives an invitation to give a series of lectures in Edinburgh, Scotland–an opportunity of high prestige–but that would mean leaving his wife and newborn child in Boston. Hesitant to bring it up, he keeps the opportunity from Julia as long as he can, not knowing she has a secret of her own.
When a frightening situation arises that threatens to break their new family apart, both parents must make sacrifices. With the family in danger, the looming question remains: Will Gabriel pursue his lectureship in Edinburgh, leaving Julia and Clare unprotected in Boston, or will he abandon the chance of a lifetime in order to ensure his family’s safety?(less)
