Anne Malcom’s Fatal Harmony
I may be the villain of the story, but at least I get a leading role.
Evil is a term thrown around history and literature as if it’s something so easily definable. A concept to fight against.
Evil doesn’t exist.
Neither does ‘good.’
Vampires do, though.
I just happen to be one.
I’ve cruised through the centuries managing to avoid all the wars, supernatural and human, but still going to all the best parties.
I would say I avoided bloodshed, but it’s kind of part of the whole ‘vampire’ thing.
I’ve lived on the fringes of a society that considered cruelty and sadism favorable character traits for almost five hundred years. Now I’m in the middle of a war that might just put my nonbeating heart in a lot of danger.
Battles, I can handle.
The impossible attraction between me and the vampire slayer, not to mention the penetrating gaze of the king of our race, on the other hand?
I might not get out undead.
Abby’s review 5 blushes
So, if you know me, you may know that I am a PNR lover. Top of my lists include, Christine Zolendz Mad World Series, Kristen Ashley’s Three Series, AM Hudson’s Dark Secret Series and KL Kreig’s Regent Vampire Lord’s series. I will tell you, this book skyrocketed to the very top. This was Malcom’s first paranormal and man oh man did she hit it out of the park.
Isla is the most kick-ass heroine that I have read in forever. Her snarky, sarcastic, personality is one of my favorite women leads I have read in so long. She is the epitome of bad-ass. I’m adding her to our Kick Ass Female list. I want her at my back. Her background story was heart-breaking.
Thorne, hot damn. So mysterious. So sexy. So over protective in the most wanted of ways. I loved him. He was all, you can give them that bullshit, but not me. It worked. He worked. he did everything for me as far as hero’s are concerned.
Rick. Bad ass vamp with some serious secrets. Yum!
Anne Malcom. Can I say stalk? You know you get those authors whom you want to stalk for their next release, well I’ll tell you, I am dying for the next book. The way this lady writes makes me grin and hang on my seat, like go get ’em girl. And then I want to high five the author, like damn, you did that so awesome. I kind of want to put Anne on my kick ass women list too, cause damn she slayed this book.
If you love some PNR, THIS HAS MOVE TO THE TOP OF YOUR TBR ALL OVER IT!!!
Anne Malcom has been an avid reader since before she can remember, her mother responsible for her book addiction. It started with magical journeys into the world of Hogwarts and Middle Earth, then as she grew up her reading tastes grew with her. Her obsession with books and romance novels in particular gave Anne the opportunity to find another passion, writing. Finding writing about alpha males and happily ever afters more fun than reading about them, Anne is not about to stop any time soon.
