Once Upon Another Time
Unless you accidentally meet a crazy little lady named Shotgun Roxy with a magic wand that is. One second I was a normal, middle-aged woman, living a normal everyday life, and the next … I found myself cast into a play with a parade of characters from another time without a script.
Was I dead?
Was I in Heaven?
Was Heaven in the eighties?
LOUISA’S 4.5 BLUSH REVIEW
Have you ever wanted to go back to high school for a do-over? Ever wondered what you would do differently? Ever pondered the question – “what would you tell your 17-year-old self”?
We have all asked these questions of ourselves, and in Once upon another time, Jettie Woodruff has given Jessie her chance for the do-over.
This book is a blast from the past for someone like myself who grew up in the 80’s. There are so many 80’s references that I was transported back to 1988!
Jessie has a good life, a husband, and children, a house on a lake with a pool and a job she thinks she enjoys. What we all want from life, but is there more to be had. She happens upon a psychic who will forever (possibly) change her world.
Going back to her High school reunion gives way to Jessie seeing a little better, who she was and who she wants to be. Getting a second chance with Royal, her childhood friend, and twin flame will be a whole new high school experience for them both and all those around her.
Jettie has left us with a bit of a conundrum in the last chapter, and I can’t wait to see where Once Upon This Time takes us!
