Abby’s Review 5 stars
I have never read a Nicole Williams book that I wasn’t head over heels for and this book is no exception. It has been a long time since I read Jude and Lucy’s story. So long, I was starting to forget just how much I loved the two of them. Then quickly, page after page, sweet flashbacks of why I fell in love with this couple came pouring into my imagination.
Jude, lets just say everything you remember about Jude that you originally loved is more present than ever. Jude is drafted by the NFL. Lucy has all these insecurities about how the money will effect them. They have some challenges that are more realistic in this story.
With Lucy you get her snarky comments and ballsy banter. She is the same fierce ballerina that we grew to love.
The love between Jude and Lucy is overpowering and beautiful. In this story we get to see them grow and get to where they need to be.
Not that long ago I was talking with some ladies who said they were not sure where Nicole could take this story. After reading this story I am certain that the series needed this conclusion. It made both of these characters grow, and really finally get over their fears.
This was a brilliant conclusion to a series that I just adored. Bravo Nicole Williams for doing it again.
I’m a wife, a mom, a writer. I started writing because I loved it and I’m still writing because I love it. I write young adult because I still believe in true love, kindred spirits, and happy endings. Here’s to staying young at heart *raises champagne glass* . . . care to join me?
