LOUISA’S 5 BLUSH UP ALL NIGHT REVIEW
I have been waiting for Lost Boy since the moment we met him in Ends Here and Road to Nowhere. I am the self-proclaimed President of #TeamNoah. So we need to start from the beginning…
THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COVER…ever!! Getting Stephen James for the cover of Lost Boy was a dream come true for me (and I am thinking M. Robinson too).
Next, the story, M. Robinson has written has a story that has spanned the lifetime of both Noah and Skyler, two lost souls that needed to find each other but didn’t find the easiest path. From Skyler’s first encounter with Noah and fro the moment Noah heard Skyler singing, their hearts intertwined along with their souls.
Years and years of suffering the loss of each other, life and fate bring them back to each other, but many obstacles keep these two from fulfilling their destiny. The push and the pull brought me to the brink and back multiple times, this is the reason that I continue to worship at the altar that is Monica Robinson’s twisted and beautiful storytelling abilities.
Lastly, the epilogue – as much as I enjoyed every word written the epilogue made my heart smile.
The “Queen of Angst” has come to play and play hard she did. The story was woven with twists and turns that I never saw coming, one of my favorite traits of this author. It’s never the same story twice, she keeps me on my toes and once she sucked me in – there was no letting go.
This book will definitely be on my top of 2018 reads because Monica Robinson has given us a gift in Noah’s story that will forever own a part of my heart.
KERRY’S 5 BLUSH UP ALL NIGHT REVIEW
If you have read M. Robinson before, then you know how she gets down. She really put her all into Noah. Move over, Creed! Noah is taking the spotlight. And Holy crap!!! Stephen James on the cover is pure perfection.
DAWN’S 4.5 BLUSH REVIEW
Move over Creed, Noah Jameson is EVERYTHING! I still love me some Creed but damn his little brother may have stolen a big piece of my heart! I knew from from the moment I met Noah in Creed’s books, Road To No Where and It Ends Here, that his book would be INTENSE. When this boy loves, he loves with everything he has! Monica gave me exactly what needed.
Lost Boy is gritty, raw and emotional. It’s about two lost souls, Noah and Skyler, who find solace within each other. From the very first pages this book consumed me… Two adrift kids quickly going down the rabbit hole because of the lives they were born into. Unfortunately, living lives they had no choice in. One was born to the devil himself, while the other was sold to him. All their love, passion and pain was seared into my heart.. From their very first encounter, Noah and Skyler felt an unimaginable bond and through the years, they became everything each other. But no matter how much they needed one another, there were always so many obstacles keeping them apart. In turn, annihilated each other one minute then breathing life into each other the next. I felt all their jumbled emotions… All their unwavering love, longing, passion and despair. The push and pull between them was INSANE. I nearly lost it a few time with how my heart was being pummeled throughout the story. Noah and Sklyer’s relationship gave me whiplash with their euphoric highs and their debilitating lows. They put me through the ringer and kept me holding my breath! Besides their heart-stopping love story, their individual stories were mindblowingly unique and convoluted.
Monica sure knows how to write tortured, heart wrenching, all encompassing LOVE!! Her books provoke emotions and that’s all that matters to me. Always making me feel something. She is reining “Queen of Angst” for a reason. Dear Lord! This woman knows how to torture me yet make me love every minute of it. BTW Noah is Stephen James! Stunning book cover! I need to get my hands on this paperback.
My body molded perfectly against his like I was
made just for him, only him. It was the most overwhelming, mind blowing,
consuming feeling I’d ever felt in my entire life. There would be no coming
back from this.
From him.
From us.
Ruining me for any other guy. He slowly parted his lips, beckoning me to do the
same. I followed his lead, imitating the same rhythm he set. His tongue traced
my swollen lips, and it left the craziest sensation in its wake. A tingly fire
that only he could put out. I’d never be able to lick my lips and not think of
this very moment. It would be lodged next to my heart where he belonged.
I pulled back my tongue, and he took it as an open invitation to gently push
his into my awaiting mouth. Seeking mine out, turning this kiss into something
more than I could have ever imagined it could be.
No words came close to describing what was happening between us. The feelings
he stirred deep within my mind, my soul, matching my emotions with each stroke
of his tongue and lips. This push and pull was as uncontrollable as where fate
wanted to take us. I never wanted him to stop kissing me.
Not for a second.
A year.
A lifetime.
Noah’s lips were meant to be on mine. My body was meant to be beneath his. Our
hearts were meant to be together.
I was his girl.
I had always been his girl.
