Blog Tour: UNBREAKABLE by Rebecca Shea
Genre: New Adult/College/Coming of Age
Jessica Harper is the epitome of perfection. She’s a good daughter, makes excellent grades, and always strays on the safe side of life. The last thing she thought would ever happen was falling in love with her best friend’s brother. But sometimes fate just has a way of bringing two people together.
Wide receiver for the University of Arizona, Gabe Garcia, seems to have it all. When his feelings for Jessica come to surface, Gabe will give up everything to be with her.
But what happens when a tragedy abruptly changes the course of your life? For Jessica and Gabe, everything they thought they knew about each other will be questioned. Sometimes, there are scars in life that are cut too deep to completely heal.
Will their love prove to be unbreakable, or will it shatter and prove fate is just another lie?

Abby’s Review 4 stars
Wow! This starts off as a really sweet love story. Jess and Gabe fall in love and in reality have been falling before either one of them knew it. You get to witness their love blossom and grow. And, wow what a thing to witness. It warms your heart to see how the two fall in love. Gabe is about as sweet, manly and supportive as a boyfriend could get.
Gabe’s family gives so much love and support to Jessica.
Then something tragic and painful happens. It is so bad. Your heart breaks for Jessica. I knew with all the love at the beginning that I was waiting for the other shoe to drop and man does it. Then it drops a little more. Meanwhile your heart is breaking for her.
I was intrigued and captivated by this story, of love, courage and resilience. It has a decent pace. The writing style flows nicely. This is debut for Rebecca Shea and what a splash she just made!

Wow – what a journey that Jessica has to travel in Unbreakable! This story started out very sweet, moved along at a very good pace, and really had me falling in love with Jessica and Gabe.
I KNEW. I JUST KNEW from the synopsis that something terrible would happen so I was constantly on the edge of my seat. Then BAM! It hits and it was awful! How can Jessica and Gabe recover? It was a very tough thing to navigate through and I really liked how Rebecca Shea handled the situation. It was real and painful and exactly how I might expect it to play out.
As Jessica and Gabe are trying to recover, enter a new character and I was again wondering how Jess and Gabe might get their HEA or were they really not meant to? At first I didn’t like the new character but Rebecca did a fabulous job of turning that around making me wonder how exactly would this story end.
I felt the pace was perfect and the characters strong. Rebecca Shea was able to get into the characters’ heads and tell their story from multiple POVs that had distinct voices. If anything, I felt I needed a little more in the middle of the story and with Jessica’s experience to fully connect with her struggles.
Overall, I definitely enjoyed following Jessica and Gabe through their journey. Beautiful story with a message of hope, forgiveness, and the depths of love. Well-done debut novel!
