Blog Tour: TRANSLATION OF LOVE (Of Love #1) by Alice Montalvo-Tribue
Book Description
Ellie Brooks has spent the past two years of her life building barriers around herself that are guaranteed to keep people out and her demons in. She doesn’t want to get close to anyone for fear of being hurt again. When she meets Latin superstar Victor Garza, she is shocked at how quickly he is able to penetrate her armor. She doesn’t want to let him in but can’t deny the chemistry they have. He has the potential to heal her wounds and open her heart but she isn’t sure she can let him.
Will love be enough to keep them together or will Ellie’s past prove to be too much for the pair to overcome?
Abby’s Review 3.75 stars
Elle is super guarded from a troubled past. She does not want to let any one in. For two years she has tried her hardest to build walls and not let anyone in. She meets Victor. She has no idea that he is rich and famous.
When I read the synopsis for this, I thought to myself Latin superstar that sounds a little cheesy. This was not in anyway cheesy. Even though Victor is a superstar, this is more about Victor wanting out of the lime light and him working his way to break all of Ellie’s barriers.
There is an obvious connection between Elle and Victor. Plenty of heat radiating from the pages. Ellie is so cautious at first and by the time she lets her inner sex goddess out its like she is being reborn. Giving into her desires again she is also learning to trust. This is as much about Elle healing and letting Victor in as it is about their love.
There are some things that happen in this story that have a surprise to them. The writing is style is nice and it flows easy. For me this was a nice quick read. It wasn’t so deep that I couldn’t sleep but it kept me plenty captivated. I enjoyed it and thought that it was a great first novel by Author Alice Montalvo-Tribue.
