I impatiently waited for this book. Ms. Cotton left us with one heck of a cliffhanger in book one. These characters were ingrained in my mind in book one and she was able to bring me back to Chastity Falls in just a few words.
Ana, this poor girl. She has lived on heck of a life and finally finds the one person who can help her heal, but needs to keep her distance. Jackson Pierce, the one man who loves her but keeps his distance to keep her safe. But Ana will do whatever it takes to find the truth about the Donahue’s. The family that has Jackson under their thumb.
Again, LA Cotton has woven a story that captures you and keeps you reading. “V” and Otis return in this book and steal my heart again. Such a sweet loving couple that embraces Ana and Jackson and do what they can to help them be together, safely.
But we aware, she’s done it again…we will be waiting to see how this couple can weather the storm in Chastity Falls in book 3!
