I usually write long reviews but when a book is this great, there is no need. I will tell you how it made me feel and what you can expect…. Rebecca Shea damn woman!! Holy shit. Fuckity fuck. Those are just some of the obscenities, I was yelling at my kindle as I read, Bound by lies. You rock lady! I am beyond impressed. You kept the electrifying momentum from the first book going. Never missing a beat. Action packed and drenched in emotion from start to finish. These two books blew me away and kept me on the edge of my seat! My stomach churning and palms sweating. I honestly had no idea how it would all play out. Expect the unexpected. Who will live? Who will die? Who will get redemption? Who will be forgiven? If you think you have the answers, you don’t. Every single character in these books demands attention. You do not know who to love more. Rebecca’s character and plot development is spot on. I adored the continue faith throughout, it gave me chills. Be prepared. Rebecca is not playing! She is out with guns blazing…. These books were even better then watching a blockbuster film!!
I’m am so proud and impressed by Rebecca Shea. She continues to improve and grow as an author. I think her greatness is just coming to fruition… I can only imagine what she has in store for us next!! Keep going lady! Show them who is the boss. JADE’S 4 STAR REVIEW
The lovely Rebecca Shea FINALLY releases Bound by Lies!! I had been waiting and WAITING to see what happens to Alex and Emilia! Throwing Sam into the mix (as well as a HUGE bombshell!) and a “holy moly” cliffy that she leaves us with in Broken by Lies, when this book found my kindle I was ready for ACTION!!!!!!
Bound is a great continuation of Broken. Your questions will be answered. I cannot promise you won’t throw your reading device so this should come with a disclaimer, but once again Rebecca Shea does a fantastic job writing a story that will entertain you and make you fall in love with her characters.
I loved the fact that we got to see a softer side of the yummiest drug dealer (yes I just wrote that) I’ve ever read. We learn the ins and outs of Sam and are shown much more depth of his character. I very much thought the progression of the story, just like Broken by Lies was perfect. I did feel that there was a slight bit (and I mean very slight bit) of repetition but just when the thought might even enter your mind she switches gears to a completely different situation that’s going on…. and THERE… ARE… ALOT… of different dynamics and issues going on with EVERYONE!!!!
Although I did enjoy this book as I do ALL of Rebecca’s books, with a main focus on this book being such a dangerous and very important part of the book, I did kind of feel as though it was anti-climatic. I guess I was expecting a “show down” of some sorts. I was a bit disappointed there.
HOWEVER! All in all- Good Book! Great Characters! Awesome Concept! Very Intriguing! Super job my beautiful Becca Shea! Alejandro will always have a piece of my heart!
